Industry News

Industry News keeps your site fresh with no writing: the platform monitors trusted UK property feeds around the clock, scores each story for relevance, emails you a morning shortlist, and turns the stories you approve into unique, locally-angled bulletins on your site.

It’s an optional add-on. If you see “Industry News isn’t on your plan yet”, talk to us to add it. Owners and admins only.

  1. Curated UK property feeds (industry press, portals and government housing updates) are checked through the day, and each story is scored 0 to 100 for relevance.
  2. Each morning you get a digest email with your shortlist.
  3. In the portal’s Industry News tab, review each story: its category, source (with a link to the original), relevance score and summary.
  4. Press Approve & publish on the ones you want. The AI then writes a unique bulletin with your local angle and publishes it to your chosen site. Or Dismiss what you don’t want; dismissed stories can be re-approved later.

Bulletins appear on your site at /news, each with its own page, and “Industry News” becomes available as a menu target in your site’s Menus.

Your allowance is 25 bulletins per month (the header shows how many you’ve used; the allowance resets monthly).

  • Master switch: turning it off stops the shortlists and pauses the add-on.
  • Feeds: choose which curated sources are monitored for you.
  • Topics to surface: Agency industry, Market & prices, Policy & regulation, Lettings & landlords, Buyers & sellers. Leave all on for the widest net.
  • Relevance threshold (0 to 100, default 60): higher means fewer, more relevant stories reach your shortlist.
  • Publish to: which of your sites approved bulletins are published on. Set this first; approving needs a destination.
  • Digest recipient: defaults to the account owner if left blank.
  • Send time: the approximate hour your digest arrives (default 07:00).
